all-seeing

saw the dead weather last night at the capitol hill block party in seattle. the band was phenomenal, obviously, which is unfortunately more than i can say for the crowd. fucking festivals! anyway, the backdrop was INSANE. one of the greatest stage setups i've ever seen.



did a little research and it was put together by silent giants, a design firm out of detroit, who also did these killer posters:

just got these shameless alexander wang cat-eye knockoffs in the mail from nasty gal. not usually into obvious imitation, but i caved... and have been wearing them daily since.

also, just rediscovered my love for the shredded shirt. this danzig one's a total winner.

number of the beast

saw iron maiden play a couple weeks ago, and although they didn't play run to the hills (i KNOW) they thankfully played number of the beast.

... and speaking of which, a fellow vancouverite has started a company with some friends called DARK EARTH 666.

i'm loving the 666 hands tank:
